I've been raving to my friends and family ever since our project finished back in March, and wanted to put it into a formal review as well -- we simply cannot say enough good things about Gideon and Wildwood Construction. Gideon and his right-hand man Mike were on site at our house for about 4 weeks taking on a major kitchen renovation along with wall removal, flooring changes, and ceiling work. I interviewed 5 different contractors in the area and Gideon stood out by far. He is an attentive listener, genuinely thinks through the entire project and provides an estimate that he stands behind. Our kitchen is beautiful and we have no regrets. Gideon and Mike were an absolute pleasure to interact with. They clean up after themselves EVERY DAY, are extremely respectful and genuinely care that the job is done RIGHT, for example - Mike took it upon himself to custom fit the moulding and trim work to make the open living areas flow seamlessly and elegantly, and they spent a full day re-setting the cabinets that were not precisely level, cleaning up a different contractor's imperfect work, at a moment's notice! From start to finish, Gideon insists on high caliber work, manages the entire process, and ensures the customer is happy, even through inevitable unforeseen challenges of working on a 60+ year old house. If you're looking for a reliable and honest contractor, look no further than Wildwood Construction. We are already planning our next project with them.

Kenny and Rob are great partners and their team did fantastic work, especially Mike! They built a screened in porch in a very reasonable amount of time (a matter of weeks) and it turned out great. Mike is an excellent carpenter and very thorough. Often he was still working at 6pm when I came home from work, and the job seemed to be very well planned because there wasn’t too much down time waiting on supplies or inspections. They all listened to our ideas but also shared their opinions respectfully. Kenny was VERY responsive, usually replying in less than 24 hours, and worked around our full time work schedules to set up the initial meetings. The site was cleaned up at the end of EVERY day, and as a mom of two young children that was a safety benefit I wasn’t counting on but really appreciated it. The craftsmanship is very professional, everything looks like high quality assembly, and all my neighbors are jealous now! We went with Trex flooring which I also highly recommend the splurge because it looks and feels great (tiki color). I would highly recommend American Craftsman.

Fast, efficient, and exceptional work done by American Craftsman on our master bathroom! Without being able to use our master for almost two years, these guys were able to give us our dream bathroom in just about 2 weeks from start to finish! There work was quick and neat, keeping our house clean as they worked, tidying up at the end of the day, and not intruding on our day. Can’t say enough great things about these guys, each and every person we had come through the door was pleasant and helpful, answering all our crazy questions, and making any changes that were necessary during the process.
