Superb workmanship. Quality service. James is knowledgeable about the woods he uses and the use and care of cutting boards. He answered all of my questions quickly and to my satisfaction. My 8”👯6” walnut cutting board is not only beautiful but functional for preparing only a few items. The smooth surface on both sides cleans up easily.

We contacted James during our kitchen remodel with the idea of a walnut butcher island. James walked us through the options and recommendations for our use (heavy cooking with children). The island is the centerpiece of our kitchen and we could not be happier with the outcome. There is a personal touch here that is uncommon in the home remodels, like letting my young boys help with the install and explaining the process to us the whole way. After a kitchen flood my husband and I took the opportunity to rethink our kitchen/dining room. After contacting a few different places and being turned down, James was willing to take on our wild idea with enthusiasm. Both Jake and James came over and scoped our idea of converting our separate island and dining room table into one gigantic functional island/dining room table-in-one. I was very specific in the wood design in matching my previous (much smaller kitchen table).\n\nThe base came fairly quickly, but it did take several months for the top to be completed (pandemic shortage in wood). Regardless, the wait was worth it. My husband is a detail-oriented engineer, and he was blown away at the craftmanship. The pictures do not do it justice.\n\nOur large family has many years of memories of meals and family game nights at this table to come. We are beyond excited.
