Can't say enough good things about Islam and crew! Worked with a lot of different "craftsmen" while self-contracting my townhouse reno, and FR Construction is at top of list. Showed up same day I called, bid a very fair price and advised me on design tweaks for a better final product. Most importantly, Islam returned calls and kept me advised every step of the way. And they are true craftsmen...very concerned with their quality of work and making sure I was happy. My front steps are now a beautiful brownstone and stopped years of leaking water that was ruining the alcove below. Thank you Islam.

I was lucky to find these guys. I hired them initially to do some extensive masonry work on my front steps and some exterior painting. Both the quality and speed of their work impressed me, and I hired them again to do some interior plaster and painting after a fairly major leak in my living room ceiling. They also did the tile and cement work in my bathroom after the plumbers had to tear up the floor. Shaiful and his brother, as well as their assorted crew, are all highly skilled, diligent, and attuned to detail. They work very quickly without sacrificing quality. Shaiful is always very friendly, honest, and reasonably priced. He clearly values customer satisfaction. I'll definitely use these guys again. Highly recommended!

One of the best contractors I've ever hired. My project was to rip up and replace basement floor concrete (multiple layers of concrete it turned out) in order to put in a french drain. I interacted mostly with Shaiful. Not only was he highly responsive, he called *me* twice to check in since I had a few prerequisite tasks I had to get done first. Scheduling was easy and although the job turned out to be harder than either of us were expecting, they did an excellent job. I hired them at the end to do more (some fieldstone repointing) since the first project was going well.

Shreveco did an excellent job on my home; I had some very serious damage and a lot of work that needed to be done. It was a very large project which included framing repairs, floor repair, complete wall removal and rebuilding, roofing, siding, windows and doors...Shreveco was very professional and helped me out tremendously. They gave advice on how to pick styles, colors, windows, and doors but the final decision was for me the customer to make which was very comforting. We hired Shreve Co. to enclose and extend our current carport and turn it into a garage, redo our back patio, and replace our roof and windows. The workers were all kind and courteous of our property, very easy to work with. The craftsmanship was excellent, they really pay attention to detail and don’t cut corners. If you’re like me, you’ve heard countless stories of contractors in and around the city disappearing on jobs, ghosting clients, leaving a mess that another contractor doesn’t want to clean up. Romero Remodeling works from 8am-7pm, 6 days a week, until the project is done, and Octavio answers every text or call, usually within 15 minutes. This alone is worth 5 stars. In addition, the work is high quality and Octavio and his guys are super nice and respectful of their clients and their clients’ property.
