Rodney Smith, President and Owner of RLS Construction, has over thirty years' experience within the construction business. As a child he built treehouses and forts in the neighborhood and even did some carpentry for friends and neighbors. His formal training began at Diamond Oaks Vocational School in 1980 where he enrolled in the Construction and Carpentry class. After graduating in 1982, he began working as a Carpenter/Framer and completed all aspects of residential construction, from framing new homes to finish carpentry on the interior. After achieving the level of Master Carpenter, he decided to branch out on his own, and RLS Construction began. We take personal pride in all the work we do. We strive to maintain a very high level of craftsmanship and as always customer satisfaction is our NUMBER ONE goal. We treat all of our customers like family. Besides being a long established, local company, we are family owned and operated so we can offer that personal service that you don’t see from many others.
