JR and his team installed a custom kitchen island and coffee stand/cabinet for me. JR did a great job of helping me to maximize my space (which is smaller than ideal for what I was seeking). He was patient with my lack of knowledge around the work itself and was able to transform my very layman's vision into something real. He and his team were polite, professional, respectful, and incredibly quick to complete the job. I absolutely love my island and coffee corner and would recommend US Propaint & Renovation without hesitation!

My wife and I hired Jeff for a complete bathroom gut and remodel. The project was daunting and many contractors passed due to the complexity and scope of the what was required. The bathroom had been badly damaged from a leaking toilet that sprang above the shower, and the entire space had not been touched since the early 70's when the house was built. We were impressed with how eager and enthusiastic Jeff was. He offered great ideas and solutions to bring the space to life, while still allowing us the creative control to personalize it. We went from a hideous (and not functioning) modular shower that was straight out of the disco era to a custom, subway tiled walk in shower. Jeff even added a mud room with a gorgeous built in wall unit to really maximize the space. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with Jeff's communication, professionalism, and workmanship throughout the duration of the project. He is truly a master of his craft while still being approachable and down to earth. We would highly recommend McKinnon Painting & Carpentry and will absolutely hire Jeff for our next home improvement project.

Jeff and his crew did a phenomenal job of remodeling our kitchen. Jeff was flexible with timing as we waiting for our cabinets to arrive (since it's unpredictable during COVID). At every planning step he was offering to help with anything we needed. During the remodel and wall remodel we ran into a literal brick wall that was unexpected. He created a couple custom pieces in our kitchen to fix that (corner shelf and wine rack)+ a cabinet that ended up being shorter than the others (our mistake, not his) to which he created a mail shelf for us to unify it. We now have him getting us quotes on other parts of the house.
