I’m in the IT world and work remotely, so having a home office is very important to me. Mark showed me several properties that had great home offices, but were lacking in other areas like rooms and sq. ft. He then proposed that I let him build a beautiful outdoor workspace that looks modern but is functional. He just installed a 5’ x 7’ window on the front of the shed that has me counting down the days till I get to use it. He’s also finishing our FROG that will bring us around $35k from a sq ft. perspective once it’s livable. You won't find a better agent than Mark.

I've been raving to my friends and family ever since our project finished back in March, and wanted to put it into a formal review as well -- we simply cannot say enough good things about Gideon and Wildwood Construction. Gideon and his right-hand man Mike were on site at our house for about 4 weeks taking on a major kitchen renovation along with wall removal, flooring changes, and ceiling work. I interviewed 5 different contractors in the area and Gideon stood out by far. He is an attentive listener, genuinely thinks through the entire project and provides an estimate that he stands behind. Our kitchen is beautiful and we have no regrets. Gideon and Mike were an absolute pleasure to interact with. They clean up after themselves EVERY DAY, are extremely respectful and genuinely care that the job is done RIGHT, for example - Mike took it upon himself to custom fit the moulding and trim work to make the open living areas flow seamlessly and elegantly, and they spent a full day re-setting the cabinets that were not precisely level, cleaning up a different contractor's imperfect work, at a moment's notice! From start to finish, Gideon insists on high caliber work, manages the entire process, and ensures the customer is happy, even through inevitable unforeseen challenges of working on a 60+ year old house. I cannot express how happy we were with Daryl's professionalism and courtesy. He and Ron painted an entire 4-bedroom house we purchased for a rental for our daughter. Every encounter -- from estimate, to arrival times -- were punctual and efficient. Daryl and Ron encountered numerous instances of "drywall mishaps" and crooked walls, challenging wainscoting and beadboard and chairrail mismatches. Nothing rattled them. They were able to make everything look good, and we loved the outcome so much that we hired them again to paint another rental we were putting on the market. While they were working, I did some of the trim myself and got to chat them up. They shared plenty of tips with me, and I learned a lot from them. We would certainly allow them access to our home in our absence, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching them and learning from their efficiency and expertise. Would highly recommend them. Not only for their quality work, but also because--during the estimate walk-through--Daryl pointed out the areas where we did not need to paint (some ceilings, for instance, looked fine and would have been a waste of money). Recommendations on quality and prices of paint, too, were covered beforehand. I will be hiring Daryl and Ron again for all future projects and would be happy to answer any phone inquiries regarding Renovation Services.
