As a normal practice I do not give a written opinion regarding the work a company completed on my house. I have certain defined expectations as to the skill level and quality of work to be completed by the company I employ. Leslie and her crew from Modern Design and Remodeling exceeded our expectations. I know it’s not easy to remodel an existing 30 year old bathroom shower and make it look remarkable again, but that is exactly what they did and they did a great job. From the initial meeting to select the tile and materials, the demolition and the rebuild it was obvious they have the expertise to do the job and they take pride in their workmanship and strive to meet and or exceed their customers’ expectations. Unlike many contractors who aren’t at the job site but just direct subs over the phone, I always had Ryan, Matthew, Janice, or someone there to make sure the job was on track and being done right. They started when they said they would, and stayed with the job until it was done. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work, and they are very accommodating to make sure the customer is happy. I learned many remodeling projects ago that you get what you pay for. Being no strangers to construction, we knew that 5-6 week kitchen Reno meant 3 months. We knew there’d be plenty of pain points and frustrations. They worked up a quote and when it was a little over my budget they worked with me to get within my budget. They set us up with a decorator to help us with tile selection and design.
